Sercel, the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of innovative seismic equipment, launched GPR300 which a seabed nodal seismic acquisition solution structured for lodging in shallow waters down to the depths of about 300 metres.

As per Sercel’s statement, the fresh solution enlarges Sercel’s existing GPRNT range which comprises GPR1500 for high-end deepwater subsurface imaging. The compact and light GPR300 presents Sercel’s QuietSeis broadband digital sensor technology for performance with extensive quietness and digital fidelity like none. Its potential to sense high-fidelity low-frequency signal sets its standards as the most reliable option for high-end seismic imaging with full-wave inversion (FWI).

The GPR300 is getting contented from the BGP’s full knowledge of seismic acquisition as well as the Sercel’s expertise in technical innovation, design and manufacture of marine seismic parts.

The CEO of Sercel, Emmanuel Dubu, expressed that this seabed nodal solution will surely level with the demands of the ever-growing industry for excellent quality seismic data for reservoir optimization.
